Guiding principles
When to write a review?
We welcome you to write a review once you've completed or nearly completed a course.
You should not write a review if a company has offered you an incentive to do so. Incentives include things like discounts, monetary rewards, loyalty points, gifts, coupons and referral bonuses. These undermine the integrity of reviews.
When you share your recent experiences, other readers get a feel for how a course provider is operating now. And course providers get valuable up-to-date feedback.
Remember to be respectful
Be honest, be constructive, but be respectful too. Try to give a balanced review, if possible.
Hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene comments have no place here.
Don't lie, bully, blackmail, make threats or do anything illegal.
Don't reveal yours or anyone else's personal information.
What should you not write?
Your honest opinion and feedback is invaluable to us and to course providers, as such we ask that you do not make up an experience or write a review for someone else.
If you are closely associated with, work for, or are in competition with a particular company, you should not review it.
Just as receiving an incentive to write, change or delete a review is frowned upon, promotional and marketing material and/or links are not welcome either.
Flagging a review
Anyone can flag a review and we appreciate anyone who flags a genuinely problematic review. You're our personal superhero, protecting members of our community.
We will review and investigate each reported review to see if they are in violation of our guidelines. If so, we will take action.
The final say
These guidelines are just some guiding principles. Please understand that we have the final say with regard to the interpretation and application of these guidelines, and we can update them at any time.
